Sixth Global Meeting of NGOs for Road Safety

The Global Meeting of Nongovernmental Organizations Advocating for Road Safety and Road Victims (Global Meeting) is the key event for road safety NGOs and their partners. In this six-day event, we coordinate action, empower NGOs, and engage decision makers, corporate partners, and other stakeholders to join the discussion on how we work efficiently and effectively to achieve the road safety global goals.

The Sixth Global Meeting is the most significant global road safety event in 2019, leading up to end of the Decade of Action 2011–2020 and the Third Global High-Level Conference on Road Safety, which will be hosted by the Government of Sweden in 2020.

The Global Meeting will reflect on what has been achieved during the Decade of Action and, harnessing NGOs' experience in their countries and communities, will define and advocate for specific actions beyond 2020 to achieve substantial and lasting reductions in the number of deaths and serious injuries on the world's roads.
